Why We Built This Site
Louisiana opens a great deal of court and law-enforcement material to the public, but knowing which office holds the piece you need is the real obstacle. A warrant does not live in a single database. The court that issues it sets the charge and any bond. The sheriff's warrant unit serves it and can say whether it is still outstanding. A bench warrant for a missed date usually stays with the court that set the case, which in Caddo Parish may be Shreveport City Court, a mayor's court, or a justice-of-the-peace ward rather than the district court.
The state adds another wrinkle. Louisiana leaves warrant records with the issuing agency and the parish offices instead of pooling them into one public search, so a name can be clean in one office and active in another. The pages here gather the contact details, request routes, and record coverage for each of those offices so a reader can start in the right place instead of checking the wrong one and assuming the answer is final.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, clerk, or state agency. The limits on what we can help with are real:
- We cannot perform an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for any person
- We cannot clear, recall, quash, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot post bond or take payment toward a warrant or a fine
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a warrant applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that a fee, phone number, or listing on this site is current the moment you read it
Only the court that issued a warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether it is still active. We can point you to the right office, but that office has to answer.
Search Partners
Search boxes on this site come from third-party providers. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. When a box leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps the site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and a partner result is not an official warrant check.
